Introduction
This proposal includes my suggestions for what should represent our country at the international cultural festival in London.
Traditional dishes
Serbia is known for having quite good traditional cuisine. Therefore, I suggest we make a corner where anyone could try them. From sarma to gibanica – every visitor would be able to find something that fits their taste perfectly. Someone could also be going around, offering people to try ajvar or plum jam on slices of lepinja, as a snack.
National dances
I think it would be a great idea to give interested visitors a chance to learn kolo. Some of the dances are really easy to learn and I am sure that everyone who decides to try will have a lot of fun. We could also invite a professional ensemble to perform in the evening.
Known scientists
Quite a few scientists from this country have done impactful things in many science related fields. I propose we make some sort of exhibition where visitors would be able to learn more about Nikola Tesla, Mihajlo Pupin and other incredible people who have helped humans to advance significantly in terms of our understanding of technology as a whole.
Conclusions
I am certain my proposal would leave a great impression on anyone who decides to learn more about Serbia and our culture at the festival, so I hope it meets your approval.
